ART DUBAI 2026

The Rooster Gallery will take part in ART DUBAI 2026 (May 14–17) with a presentation conceived as an artistic dialogue between Latvian painter Sandra Strele and Lithuanian artist Tomas Dauksa, featuring paintings alongside porcelain objects from Dauksa’s The Bigfoot Project series.

Marking the gallery’s eleventh participation in the fair, the booth builds on an ongoing relationship between the artists and Art Dubai’s audience – a diverse international community of collectors, curators, and art professionals that the fair brings together each year . Both Strele and Dauksa have been presented here previously, establishing a strong connection with the public.

Strele’s paintings unfold as fluid spatial compositions where architectural and organic forms intersect, guided by a distinctive visual logic that subtly destabilises perception. Her works reflect on the ebb and flow of life, with water acting as both witness and agent – a medium through which personal and ecological narratives intertwine.

In dialogue, Dauksa’s porcelain sculptures from The Bigfoot Project introduce enigmatic, almost mythical presences. Balancing between fiction and artefact, they extend the exhibition into a speculative register, where material precision meets narrative ambiguity.

Together, the works create a layered environment that invites viewers to navigate between the intimate and the unknown, the tangible and the imagined.

The Rooster Gallery’s participation at the fair is kindly supported by Lithuanian Council for Culture
