Anna Malicka (b. 1995) is a visual artist based in Riga, Latvia. Her practice unfolds through drawing, textile, installation, and her alter-ego Otra Pussyte, a mediating figure who inhabits its performative and audiovisual register. Rooted in material play and craft processes, her practice operates through gathering into construction. Malicka cultivates an evolving visual language that migrates between materials, objects, and imagined architectures, gradually accumulating into Unreal Estate Agency — an ongoing framework where material translations of interior landscapes become sites of dwelling.
Malicka holds a BA from the audiovisual department Motion. Image. Sound (2020) and an MA from the interdisciplinary department POST (2023) at the Art Academy of Latvia. She completed a residency in London (2024) through the ACME Studios Early Career Programme. Malicka was nominated for the Annual Art Award of Latvia in 2025 and received the Linstow Art Award (2025) and the Helen Scott Lidgett Studio Award (2024) She is part of the artist collectives PR0_Bi$TR0 and Latvanija.
