We are pleased to announce that our gallery curated and organised the competition for commissioned artworks in public spaces at the new HERO Centre in Vilnius.
HERO is a modern, high-standard business centre designed to redefine Lithuanian workplace environments – combining contemporary architectural quality, smart interiors, and a vision to create a vibrant, inspiring space for work and community. Through the competition, talented artists including Sandra Strele and Vladas Suncovas were invited to contribute their unique artistic voice – enriching HERO with artworks that make public spaces more vivid, engaging, and meaningful. We believe that integrating art into everyday spaces helps transform ordinary routines into moments of inspiration – and we are proud to be part of this creative initiative.
FOLIA explores the relationship between architecture and nature – moments when the wind carries stray leaves into urban spaces. The steel used in the installation resembles the surface of aluminium foil – glossy, cool, and reflective. Mirror-polished steel leaves capture and scatter light playfully throughout the building’s surroundings, echoing the subtle motion of falling leaves. Folia speaks of the coexistence between nature and urban structure – of how wind, light, and architecture intertwine to create an unexpected, ever-changing landscape.
